Introduction to PPP on Cisco IOS Router

PPP is one of the WAN protocols that you can configure on Cisco IOS Router
Do you still remember the OSI model works?
PPP works on Data link layer. But as you can see on Data link layer that has becom a spilt into two piece.

  • NCP: Network Control Protocol
  • LCP: Link Control Protocol
