Ingredients
1/2 a large taro or
1 small taro
2- 5.6 ounce cans of coconut milk
1 cup of sticky rice 1 teaspoon of salt
4 cups of water ( or enough to cover your taro
chunks)
1 cup of Palm or white sugar (can be adjusted
to taste)
Cut you taro into 2 inch chucks , wash them and
place them to aside. Have 4 cups of water or enough water to pass the taro
chunks ready to boil in a pot. Once the water is boiled add in the taro and
sticky rice, let it boil for approximately 5-10 minutes then add in the coconut
milk let it simmer for 5 minutes and then add in salt and sugar then let it
simmer until the taro is semi-softened then you are done.
